Spring Must Haves

written by Anna

Happy Monday! I cannot believe it is almost the end of March already. Spring is in the air, and we’re all pretty excited for it over here!

I feel like the things that I like change super dramatically with each season change. Does anyone else have this happen to them? Here are my current spring favorites in the categories of skincare, style, hair, and scents/flavor. Hope you enjoy!

Skincare: Neutrogena Hydro Boost

Neutrogena hydro boost cleansing gel

Okay so a few weeks ago I accidentally TOTALLY destroyed my face with a toner that was wayyyy too harsh for it, and it left me with skin that was super dry in some places, oily in others, and awkwardly splotchy. But, that led me to finding Neutrogena’s Hydro Boosting Gel Cleanser and Multivitamin Booster. These two products have been lifesavers to me! They’ve done a great job at restoring a natural level of hydration to my skin, without making it greasy or oily at all! (I’ve also been using Neutrogena’s Deep Clean Purifying Micellar Cleansing Makeup Remover Wipes and their oil free combination skin Moisturizing Lotion as my new everyday gentle skincare routine)

Style: Stripes

I’m usually a floral kind of girl, but lately I’ve been SO obsessed with classic blue and white striped tops and dresses! Here’s a few of my current favs:

Hair: Pantene Pro-V Air Spray

My #1 curly hair secret is that I ALWAYS use hair spray while my curls are wet and then let them air dry. I recently started using Pantene Pro-V Airspray, and it’s the best hairspray I’ve ever tried! I’m able to use a generous amount of it without it getting crunchy or anything. It has a great gentle hold!

Scents/Flavors: Lavender

I have been loving EVERYTHING lavender recently. My current favorite drink is a Lavender iced tea latte, which Tristan and I have recently starting making at home (so stay tuned for that recipe!). We bought some culinary lavender the other day and made a ton of syrup out of it to use for the tea lattes, and it also tastes super great in coffee as well! Additionally, I’m constantly diffusing lavender essential oil, which smells so good and makes for a great calming scent in our apartment. lavender and striped spring dress

What are some of your spring favorites? Let me know!

lots of love,

I totally agree with the stripes and lavender! For my skin care I have started using a blend of rose water, coconut oil and baking soda. Works amazing for cleansing a long Dubai day off of my face 🙂

That’s awesome! I used to use rose water as well. Also, coconut oil is a literal miracle worker🙌🏻
