We love living in Minneapolis. There is such a wide variety of awesome people, restaurants, and businesses here. We believe that the creativity and culture of this city is like no other, and we are privileged to be a part of it. This is why we have decided to start the blog series “Minneapolis Favorites”, so that we can showcase all the best that this city has to offer – from an insider perspective. We hope you enjoy! Also, get excited because there’s a GIVEAWAY at the end of this post!
Crisp & Green is relatively new to the Minneapolis scene, but they are taking it by storm. It’s a place that is not only fast and convenient, but very health-conscious and plant forward as well. Our first experience was at their original location in Wayzata (which opened in 2016) and we’ve become regulars at their North Loop location since we moved here in July. They currently have two other locations in Edina and Dinkytown, as well as five more locations opening soon!
Crisp & Green’s mission (as stated on their website) is “to provide nutritious and convenient food to fit a busy, wellness-driven lifestyle”. They offer a wide variety of salads, smoothies, and grain bowls. They are also super passionate about being wellness leaders in the community, and host a variety of wellness-based events at their restaurants, such as yoga, Pure Barre, Vinyasa, and more!
When we visit, Anna likes to get their Green Light smoothie (as seen here). Or, she does a build your own salad with spinach, mixed greens, arugula, and brown rice as her base and cucumber, chicken, and curry cauliflower toppings. I love the variety of salads and grain bowls that Crisp & Green has to offer, and I typically choose something different every time. Today I chose their Fiesta Bowl. I love the flavors used in this dish – fresh lime, avocado, chicken, and jalapeño to name a few.
Crisp & Green has quickly climbed to the top of our favorite places to go for a quick bite to eat because everything’s super tasty, and we know we’ll be eating something that will make us feel good too. No longer is eating on the go a matter of compromising food quality, but one that keeps us at the top of our health game – even when there’s seemingly so little time to do so. This is especially important for Anna, as she has some autoimmune diseases that make her well-being closely tied to what she eats. When we are on the go, or simply want to eat out of the house, Crisp & Green is a wonderful choice for us.
If you live in Minnesota (or if you’ll be visiting anytime soon!), we think you’d love Crisp & Green too. We’ve partnered with them to give you the chance to win a $25 gift card, and you can enter to win over on our instagram! Go to our latest post, and follow the instructions to enter. Let’s #livecrispeatgreen together 🙂
Lots of love,
